Women have done a great deal of things in this world despite being oppressed by a patriarchal society that seeks to negate their achievements every step of the way. Women ruled like the great Cleopatra, who ruled Egypt from 69 to 30 BC and made many great achievements during her rule. Women have also discovered new things, such as Marie Curie, who helped make discoveries in radiology, which lead to the development of X-rays and the use of radiation in medicine. There are many different women out there, even today, who, as we speak, are making a difference in this world, so we’re going to be taking a look at\u00a0female role models<\/a>\u00a0and what they are doing to contribute to society’s progress.<\/p><\/div>

There have been many great women all over the world throughout history, and the differences they’ve made in this world can still be felt today. The fact of the matter is women all throughout history have done many things for the betterment of the world, and the systemic oppression they’ve faced has not held them back. Women have been doctors, engineers, soldiers, politicians, and ruled empires. As a result of their contributions, humanity has progressed a great deal. We are in a far fairer and more equitable world than we used to be; however, mindsets are still far behind in many different places, and the battle for true equality still remains to be fought.<\/p><\/div>

Oprah is an amazing woman and television personality whose show, ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show,’ has gained quite a reputation for being an amazing talk show and creating a media empire through her success with the show. Oprah has also written many books about her experiences and a particular book on mental health, where she works with a brain trauma expert to talk about past trauma. A winner of the Grammy awards on countless occasions, this is an inspiring woman who has had many great achievements all throughout her life. She started off as a singer in an R&B group known as Destiny’s Child.
